We caught up with our fabulous designer Veni Infantino who has been busy in lockdown sketching and reviewing the hundreds of dresses she has designed over the past few years.

Veni told us she has been specifically looking through styles which suit the fuller figure. As you may know Veni loves going to our trunk shows and meeting brides to be and helping them pick a gown which will suit them perfectly for their big day. She told us that she meets many brides to be with fuller figures looking for something they will feel confident in. With this in mind, she wanted to tell brides all about a couple of styles she has picked out which are great for the fuller figure…

Dusty, style number 69585 is a lace, organza and sparkle tulle fit and fare gown. The plunging v-neckline with thick straps and sheer inset give full support to a larger bust. The back of the gown, although it being low cut is actually high enough to give support and is cut above the area where any lumps, bumps or creases might be on the lower back. For those who might like to cover the hips and bottom area more there is also a matching over skirt – style 69586. For those who are happy to show off the curves the over skirt could be used to change the look from daytime to night-time.

Donatilla, style number 69592 is another gown Veni recommends for the fuller figure bride. She told us that this A-line/ball gown style dress is great for pulling in at the waist and accentuating the curves. A skirt like this will hide the bottom and hips and with the pulling in of the waist will make the most of the bust and give you’re the perfect hourglass shape. The straight bust cut and high back will give support the fuller bust. The real showstopper of this gown is the beautiful removable layed cap sleeves which can be used to hide the upper arms or change the look from daytime to a more fun night-time look for dancing!
