Earlier this year, Ronald Joyce designer Veni Infantino flew to Los Angeles for a very special meeting with artist, Instagram influencer and host of ‘The Joey & Amanda Podcast’ Amanda Oleander to discuss her upcoming nuptials and design her dream wedding gown.

“Amanda is one of the most genuine girls you’ll ever meet, she was so relaxed and easy to work with” Veni recalls, as she tells us about the process of designing Amanda’s gown.

Having spoken to Amanda over the phone in the weeks prior to meeting in Los Angeles, Veni knew what the bride-to-be was after and worked hard to put together some sketches for her.

“We went through all the sketches, to see if anything jumped out and she picked out a specific one right away, she knew it was the one”.

Amanda wanted a traditional gown with a modern twist and something that she could transform for a day-to-night look. The custom lace and tulle gown Veni designed was covered with a delicate flower and leaf design down to the edges of the train. The flattering illusion v-neckline plunges down to the waist where it meets a detachable skirt that Amanda removed after the ceremony to dance the night away. The veil was designed to match the dress and Amanda opted for a gorgeous blush bouquet of garden roses and dahlias to bring the look together.

Following a request of an ‘unplugged’ wedding to all her guests; one where guests leave their phones alone and let the experts worry about taking the photos, Amanda hired Julia, a high school friend, from Amore Vita to photograph her big day and capture the elegant essence of her custom made Ronald Joyce gown. We are sure you will agree that the results are breath taking!

We asked Amanda if she has any advice for brides-to-be…

“Don’t drink a lot of alcohol, plan what you can afford, create spreadsheets and don’t sweat the small stuff... also, don’t be afraid to ask for help.”

Amanda told us that Joey was a very big part of the wedding planning and he even had his own ‘To do’ list. They also enlisted the help of a wedding planner to guide them. Putting her own stamp on the wedding in her true creative style Amanda designed her own wedding stationery with illustrations of herself and Joey, and has also documented her wedding with illustrations which you can see on her Instagram page.

A huge congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Rudman, we can’t wait to follow all your adventures as a married couple!
