I met Danny went we went to school together, but we lost touch when school ended. We then re-met at the gym 5 years ago and we have been inseparable ever since.

Danny then proposed to me in a botanical garden in Rome, which was very romantic and of course I said yes.

Planning the wedding was stressful but seeing my dream come to life was magical and completely worth it. We wanted a classic, traditional wedding, with a timeless feel. We decided that the Buxted Park Hotel was the perfect venue for us and had all the quality that we were looking for.

I always knew that I wanted Ronald Joyce wedding dress, just I just didn’t know what style, thou I was draw to the fishtail wedding dresses. I tried on over 12 dresses, in 3 different shops before I found the perfect dress in Bell’amore in Bexleyheath. The ladies in Bell’amore were very helpful listening to what I liked and didn’t like and came up with some lovely choses from that.

I chose the Chiara (style 69461), which I instantly feel in love with. I loved the attention to detail which was all over the dress. It was just incredible. The dress just sparkled from head to toe, which I adored. It made me feel luxurious.

The lace detail which covers the entire dress brought an elegant regal feel to my dress. The hemline was gorgeous, with a beautiful laced trail that glided behind me.  I also liked that you could have two styles on the bust area, with the modesty bodice. So, I chose traditional white on my wedding day and in the evening, I went for the more see through lace, which was lovely as it gave my dress a more custom feel. I also loved the fit on my body it made me feel really confident. I always loved the look of a fishtail and this dress did not disappoint.

The day itself went perfectly. It truly was the loveliest day that I could hope for. My favourite part was seeing my husband to be standing at the end of the aisle with our two sons waiting for me. It was really a magical feeling.  I also loved having a little couples time together with my husband when we were taking our special photos. It was just nice to have a moment as husband and wife.

My advice for future brides would have to be to try to enjoy the day as it goes so fast. I would also say, try to take some time away from everyone. Have some time just the two of you to saver the moment.
