More and more brides to be are telling us about their plans to marry abroad, whether it be for the dreamy beach photos, to combine the wedding and honeymoon, to have a smaller more close-knit wedding party, to save money or simply for the weather. With that in mind our award-winning designer Veni Infantino has put together a selection of wedding dresses perfect for taking away with you. They are made from lighter fabrics with less layers, sleeveless, more floaty and easy to take on a plane in a dress bag or even pack in a suitcase! Let’s take a look…

Wilma, style number 18408 is our lace and tulle fit and flare gown with high slit and delicate appliques. With its V-neckline and floaty skirt it is perfect for a beach wedding. Available in ivory/nude, ivory/ivory or white/white. We love how it has been styled here with cork wedge sandals.

Model stood on sand by very tall reeds in Ronald Joyce 18408, a strappy lace and tulle sheath destination wedding dress with a v-neckline, high split skirt and illusion back.

Another great floaty dress for destination weddings is style number 18419, Wesley. A delicately beaded tulle sweetheart bodice matched with a soft chiffon A-line skirt. The bodice comes with a modesty lining for a different look. This would look great with flat sandals or even bare feet! Also available in ivory/nude, ivory/ivory or white/white.

For a classic and elegant look you could opt for our Wedelin gown style number 18418. Made of plain crepe and beaded lace it features appliqued sleeve straps where the pattern continues to fall down onto the dress which frames the look nicely. The back of the gown is sheer with further appliques and silk covered buttons. There is a lovely train which would look amazing in sunkissed photos walking down the steps of a villa. Available in ivory or white only – simplicity at its finest!

Another very plain gown – a hot trend for 2020 – is the gorgeous Wanita, style number 18417. A stunning strapless sweetheart gown made of satin with a fit and flare silhouette. The wow factor is in the back detail where you’ll find a beautiful big satin bow. We can definitely imagine this beauty on a beach in a tropical paradise island.
