My husband and I met 9 years prior to our wedding, on the same date as we got married! We met in Turin which is my city located in the north of Italy. Our first date was a cup of coffee in the city centre and to be completely honest, it was love at first sight!

Our wedding was in San Giorgio Chiesa Madre, in Locorotondo (Apulia), Italy, where we now live. I have to say it was an incredibly elegant ceremony and rather religious. But of course, we had a huge party which we held in Abbazia of San Lorenzo, an ancient castle which was simply magical. The dinner was also held in the castle and the details were all stunningly romantic and all in white. We both absolutely love the classic Italian wedding atmosphere and that was what we wanted for ours. The restaurant had many Pumo Pugliese’s in their design, which are born from the passion for artistic ceramics, design and essences that evoke memories and stimulate the sensations associated with their territory. We added these as presents for our parents and friends at the end of the party and of course they were all in white to keep with the theme too. At the end of the party we had fireworks, while the musician played “Your Song” by Elton John, which is without a doubt our song of love.

I purchased my dress in Maria Calella Spose boutique, in Locorotondo. It seems to be the only retailer of Ronald Joyce dresses I could find. I had already seen the dress I chose on the website, but I hadn't immediately considered it, even though I loved the lace embroidery and the long train. I only tried about four dresses on. Mainly because I had such a clear idea of what I wanted. As soon as I tried the 'Holly' dress on from the Ronald Joyce the collection it was true love. The colour and the lace embroidery had me swooning! I was immediately convinced this was my dress and so were my friends and my mother-in-law who saw the dress on me before I walked down the aisle in it.

If I had any tips for future Ronald Joyce brides, I would highly recommend the exclusivity of your high tailoring, which has left everyone speechless. I will be grateful to you forever!
